Ironside Grill - Charlestown, Ma Home

The Ironside Grill is one of the few original bars remaining in Charlestown. It has been owned and operated by the same family since April of 1950. Originally known as McLaughlin’s Café the name has evolved over the years to include The Big Potato, The Sweet Potato, and finally Ironside Grill. Ironside offers an array of food from basic pub grub to a traditional comfort meal. Our diverse beer selection boasts 20 ice-cold drafts, 18 bottles and special options offered each month. With 4 big screens Ironside offers prime viewing of local sports games within the comfort of a long-established pub setting. We feature a second-to-none outdoor patio in Charlestown accommodating up to 40 people from mid-April to mid-October. Our City Square location puts us with-in walking distance of the TD Garden and the North End. The Ironside Grill in Charlestown is “THE PLACE TO BE.”
